Ridgeway Plus Day Service is a specialist learning disability day service located in Weymouth, Dorset and our aim is to help to raise both awareness and funds, to help to further support the many people who attend our day centre.

 

We are a registered charity which was set up by a small group of volunteers, including staff members and family members of the people who attend the centre.

 

Our charity was formed back in November 2008 as 'The Friends Of The Ridgeway Day Services' but when the centre changed its name in 2018, the charity followed suit in February 2019.

We organise special events such as coffee mornings, an annual dance and event days. Now, we would like to take this charity further by connecting more with the local community, as well as nationwide, which will enable us to raise funds to provide our clients with even more great opportunities to explore and socialise.

As well as our Facebook page, we have a new Twitter account: @FORPcharity which will be used to connect with local organisations and similar charities, along with celebrities, whom we will invite to our day centre, both to meet our clients and to help to raise funds and awareness. Do follow us!
